Realiiz

/ real-eyes /verb · to make real

To realize is to make something real. The name comes from CA-Realizer — a An early, approachable programming language — one of the first designed to be easy for non-experts to write. environment my dev team built in the '90s to go head-to-head with Microsoft's Visual Basic. I liked that product so much I eventually named my company after it.

I'm Ed Bordi. Thirty years of shipping software — Fortune 50 enterprise systems, financial trading platforms, and that CA-Realizer team back in the day. I build it, optimize it, understand the business of it, and sell it — and now I'm proving it solo, in public, with AI as the accelerant.

The four corners

The whole job — in one person.

Build it, optimize it, understand it, sell it. Most people do one. The leverage is in all four meeting at once.

01

Build it

Thirty years shipping software — Fortune 50 enterprise systems, financial trading platforms, and a '90s team that built CA-Realizer to take on Microsoft's Visual Basic. Working software, not slideware.

02

Optimize it

Award-winning Verizon systems architect — co-author of the published . A formal method for cutting waste and reducing defects in a process — find the biggest bottleneck, engineer it out.. I find the The single bottleneck that limits the whole system — fix that one spot and everything downstream speeds up. and engineer it out.

03

Understand it

Wharton Wharton's Executive Master's in Technology Management — a graduate degree blending engineering and business.. I speak the technology and the business with equal fluency — so what gets built serves the P&L, not just the demo.

04

Sell it

Former VP of Sales who drove record revenue. I know what actually moves a buyer, so the work aims at outcomes, not novelty.

What I do now

I help businesses reimagine their systems.

Small and mid-size businesses, mostly. Custom-built websites, software, tools, and AI automation — fitted to your business, owned by you, no retainers, no lock-in.

Every build is engineered to be found in Google and AI search — from structured data and crawler access to the dozens of technical details that decide whether ChatGPT recommends a business or skips it.

The same systems discipline I brought to Fortune 50 enterprise work, pointed at the bottlenecks inside your business — with AI as the force multiplier.

The team

Senior by design. Built to scale.

I lead every engagement, and I don't work alone. The team is built to match the work — everyone on it is senior, the people deciding are the people building, and nothing routes through an account manager on the way to getting done.

And when a project needs more, it scales. I've led engineering organizations at every size, from a small senior team to many hundreds, and scaling people is the same discipline as scaling systems. Startup MVP or enterprise platform, the team is sized to the work — never more than it needs, never less than it takes.

You always get me — on the call and on the build — with the right team behind me so the work actually ships.

Also building

Solo, in public, with AI as the accelerant.

The whole thesis of The Solo Builder is that one person can now do what used to take a team — and I prove it in public. I built SiteScan, a complete SaaS, by myself, working on it part-time, in just weeks. Realiiz is that thesis applied to your business: today, a senior team that does more with fewer people as AI takes on the heavy lifting; tomorrow, possibly a company of one. The work only gets faster and sharper from here. You're hiring where software is going, not where it's been.

SiteScan

Built for roofing and solar companies. A homeowner enters their address; satellite data measures the roof and returns a quote in ~30 seconds. The contractor wakes up to qualified leads. Designed, built, and operated by me.

Straight talk

I'll tell you what's real — and what isn't.

No hype. I find where custom systems and AI actually move the needle for your business, build them, train your team, and hand you the keys. You own it. No retainers, no lock-in.

This site, built with Next.js · React · TypeScript · Tailwind · Supabase · Python/FastAPI — and Claude Code for the heavy lifting. The right tools for this build; yours uses what fits yours.
